A jealous rage overcame a man in Kampong Speu’s Oral district, when he drunkenly came home and allegedly beat his wife before burning the house down, according to district police.

According to the cops, the suspect, 30, accused his 24-year-old wife of having a lover, before abusing her and storming out of the house, which he proceeded to set ablaze.

Once apprehended, the man confessed to the arson and has been sent to court.
