Outburst buys man more than a time-out

A 21 -year-old man in Kandal’s Lvea Em district was arrested on Wednesday after throwing a temper tantrum because his parents would not give him money when he asked for it.

Police said the suspect had asked his folks for $700 to buy a motorbike, but his parents declined, saying they couldn’t afford it. Incensed, the son proceeded to attack his parents.

A neighbour then called the police, who promptly arrested the brat at the scene. The suspect was sent to court soon after.
