An argument at a pagoda in Banteay Meanchey province led to a man being charged with assault on Monday.
Police said a row at a village dance saw one aggrieved party sneak home then return with a knife.
The suspect took three wild swings, missing with the first two but striking home on the third and injuring the man in the shoulder.
The 21-year-old suspect quickly fled the scene but was arrested a day later. He has since confessed and been sent to court. KOH SANTEPHEAP
