Pagoda prowler put away for failed heist

A 23-year-old man was arrested by provincial police when he was caught red-handed trying to steal a moto at a pagoda in Svay commune, Kampong Chhnang province on Monday.

The suspect, from Phnom Penh, allegedly tried to unlock a black Honda moto, but witnesses at the Kjong pagoda saw him in the act and raised the alarm.

Villagers surrounded him and called for police. The suspect will face the provincial court.
