Pair attacked trying to break up axe brawl

Loving thy neighbour doesn’t seem a popular concept in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town.

A group of neighbours who were attacking each other with stones and axes turned on a man, 40, and his nephew, 19, after they tried to break up the violent dispute on Wednesday.

The angry neighbours beat up the potential peacemakers and escaped, while the pair was sent to hospital. Police remain on the lookout for the suspects. KOH SANTEPHEAP
