Piety has eluded two men in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet district after they were arrested for stabbing a man outside the pagoda on Saturday.

According to police accounts, the two suspects got into a rancorous argument with a third man over an unknown cause.

Thus enraged, the pair seized a knife to attack the victim, seriously injuring him before fleeing the scene.

Their escape was, however, foiled by a police chase. Arrested, the duo was sent to court.
