A garden proved to be not such a tranquil place when it became the scene of a crash in the capital’s Prampi Makara district on Wednesday night.

Trying to avoid hitting a junk collector’s cart, the driver swerved off the road right through the park’s fence.

The car and the fence were the only things damaged, apart from the moping motorist’s pride.
