One man’s hammock snooze left him severely bruised in Kampot province’s Teuk Chhou district on Tuesday, after his brother-in-law attacked him with a stick.

The 63-year-old victim was treated for head and chest injuries, while his 55-year-old assailant was arrested in his own home later that day.

The man has reportedly attacked other people in the village, with his family telling cops he suffers from mental illness – a claim police said they’d investigate before pressing charges. KOH SANTEPHEAP
