Pet nappers caught up in man-eat-dog world

Two thieves were caught stealing a dog they poisoned to death on Friday night.

The men fed poisoned meat to a dog in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district, but when they came to pick it up, they found the pet’s owner, a police officer, and his son waiting for them.

One suspect escaped, but the other was arrested and admitted to stealing the neighbourhood’s dogs to sell as meat. NOKORWAT
