Petrol scheme runs out of gas for capital trio

Three men’s petrol-pinching scheme backfired on Friday in Phnom Penh’s Choam Chao commune when they were caught red-handed selling their bosses’ fuel off the books to another filling station.

Spotting two of his drivers unloading his product, the firm’s owner snapped a photo, and then later showed it to police.

Cops came and cuffed the side-lining employees, along with the station owner buying the stolen gasoline, and took them all to the district station for processing.
