Phone snatch proves too much for larcenous duo

Two phone thieves were not so smart in Kratie town yesterday. After arriving at the local market with less-than-pure intentions, the pair fanned out to scout the crowd.

Spotting a suitable mark, one suspect snatched a phone from a shopper, which she passed on to her accomplice. Market security chased and detained both of the thieves, who confessed to the crime.

The victim’s phone was recovered and the suspects sent to court. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
