Phone thief’s next call coming from prison

A Ratanakkiri man now has less access to a telephone than before he allegedly snatched one from a victim riding on a motorbike on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old suspect drove a motorbike alongside the victim, who was talking on his mobile phone, and grabbed it, police said.

Traffic police witnessed the theft and gave chase, eventually catching up to the suspect and arresting him. Police sent the suspect to court. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
