Police’s speed trap turns into unintentional pun

A police speed trap in Battambang province turned up more speed than expected on Tuesday when officers arrested a 30-year-old woman with 64 tablets of yama.

At about 8:30 pm, police manning the checkpoint in Sampov Loun district stopped the woman on a motorbike.

After they found the pills on her, the suspect allegedly confessed she had been selling for months. The suspect was sent to court yesterday. KOH SANTEPHEAP
