Police arrest burglars on a robbery re-run

Two alleged thieves in Phnom Penh’s Prampi Makara district couldn’t resist returning to the scene of the crime on Monday.

According to police, two women allegedly broke into a home while the owner was away, making off with a TV and a laptop.

Obviously not satisfied with the haul, they revisited the same residence the next day, only to be caught in the act by the returning homeowner.

The pair reportedly didn’t even have the heart to escape, and sheepishly confessed to arriving police that they had committed the crime. Kampuchea Thmey
