It came down to the wire for three suspects who police caught stealing power lines in Battambang on Thursday.

The boys in blue say the trio had snipped down 10 kilograms of cable before they were spotted and chased through the streets of Svay Por commune.

The scavengers were eventually apprehended and taken away to be charged at police headquarters along with their pile of stolen wires.
