Two suspects at-large in motodop’s murder

A motodop was killed for his motorcycle in Kampong Cham province’s Memot district on Monday. Police said that a villager found the dead man in a secluded area. Violent pair use gun to swipe cash, jewellery

Police in Phnom Penh have arrested two men accused of gunpoint robbery in Sen Sok district on Sunday. The pair allegedly threatened their victim with a gun in order to extort money, mobile phones and jewellery. One of the suspects, aged 23, was arrested that day and questioned by authorities. Based on the interrogation, police were able to arrest the suspect’s 30-year-old accomplice on Monday. This was not the first offence that the duo had committed, authorities said. Long investigation leads to arrest of ‘drug dealer’

A drunk dealer was arrested in Kampong Cham province’s Cheung Prey district on Sunday. The 32-year-old was seized at his home following a long investigation by police. Officers confiscated drugs and cash in the raid, as well as an illegal gun. Police detained the suspect for questioning and the man admitted to drug trafficking offences. The police also accused the suspect of additional offences including robbery and the use of an illegal firearm. Koh Santepheap

Six months later, teen detained for robbery

Police arrested a 16-year-old on Monday for allegedly stealing a television, laptop, mobile phone and cash in a house robbery six months ago in Kampong Speu’s  Kong Pisey district. Police said the suspect fled his community after the robbery, returning only when he believed that his crime would have been forgotten by local police. Police arrest suspect in murder of father of six

A suspected murderer has been caught by police in Sihanoukville. Officials say the 28-year-old man was detained on Monday, accused of stabbing a widower to death the previous day. Police believe that the suspect killed the father of six after an argument at a party. Although the man initially denied involvement, police said he later confessed to the murder. Rasmei Kampuchea
