A scorned wife was arrested on Tuesday for attacking her husband’s mistress in Phnom Penh. The husband, an anti-drug-trafficking police official, had not gone home for a few weeks, staying instead with his mistress. His enraged wife, accompanied by one of their daughters, went to the mistress’s house and smashed her motorbike and front door with a piece of wood. The mistress and the husband came to the door, and the wife slapped the mistress. Police came and arrested all three. The mistress asked for cash from the wife in lieu of filing a complaint.
