Police nab prolific moto thief at petrol station

A chance encounter with the Kingdom’s finest at a Takhmao petrol station called time on the career of a prolific moto thief in Kandal province on Friday.

Patrolling policemen saw the light-fingered layabout lurking suspiciously near parked vehicles at the gas station.

A search of the perp turned up lockpicking equipment.

The 23-year-old then revealed that he and four others had been in the moto- thieving game since April of this year, and had racked up 25 total thefts. Police sent the man to provincial court.
