Police attempting to break up a cockfighting ring in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town on Sunday came out from their sting empty handed.

Police got a location tip and headed to the spot where villagers were known to hold rooster battles. But by the time the officials arrived, everyone had already cleared out.
