Police unmoved by duo’s iPhone snatch rationale

A motodop and a pal tried and failed to move into petty crime in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district on Wednesday.

The duo drove by a woman who was waiting for a taxi and snatched her iPhone, police said. When the victim shouted for help, police swooped in and arrested both men.

The motodop pleaded poverty when admitting the crime to police. KOH SANTEPHEAP
