Poor choice of mate can lead to injury

A Phnom Penh woman paid the price for her husband’s reckless ways in Por Sen Chey district on Tuesday night.

Police said the woman was riding on a motorbike with her husband – who was not only drunk, but also speeding – when he slammed into an oncoming motorbike that was driving down the wrong side of the street.

Despite being the innocent one in the accident, the woman was left with a broken arm and a serious leg injury.

The drivers walked away with only minor injuries.
