Pranksters get beating for their cheeky antics

Two Colombian would-be thieves were on the receiving end of a mob beatdown after pulling a stunt straight out of Wacky Races on Wednesday.

The South American scoundrels had surreptitiously placed nails under their intended victim’s car as he withdrew cash on Phnom Penh’s Monivong Boulevard, bursting his tyres as he began to drive away. They then pounced.

But their prey resisted, and kicked up enough of a stink to draw the attention of passersby and police.
