Purse purloiners made short work of in K Cham

Two men will be wondering whether it was worth stealing one purse in Kampong Cham town on Monday.

The pair, 24 and 28, cruised past a woman on a motorbike in a busy part of the town, snatching her purse out of her hand.

Far from being the end of the matter, however, the two men were chased by nearby police – who regularly patrol the area – and were arrested. They have been sent to court. DEUM AMPIL
