Purse snatcher has cops to thank for survival

A 23-year-old purse snatcher barely survived his encounter with a vigilante mob on Sunday. The suspect grabbed a victim’s bag as she was headed to a night market in Kandal’s Sa’ang district.

The victim shouted for help and the market’s crowd swiftly turned on the moto-riding robber, beating the man within an inch of his life before police arrived to take him to the hospital. DEUM AMPIL
