Recycler cashes in on on local inebriate

An inattentive drunk was robbed by a savvy recyclables collector in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district yesterday morning.

Police said the man had just arrived home from a night of carousing, and had called his wife from outside the gate to be let in.

However, a nearby trash collector saw his golden ticket, jumping on the man’s moto and taking off.

The victim’s chase was to no avail, leaving the police only the suspect’s abandoned trash cart as a clue.
