Road to hospital paved with good intentions

A neighbour's good intentions went sorely awry after he attempted to play peacekeeper on Sunday.

The man was drinking alone at his home in Phnom Penh’ Sen Sok district while his next-door neighbour threw a party.

After a foot got stepped on, tempers erupted and the neighbour came by to help sort the troubles.

Instead of appreciation, the man received a severe beating, sustaining two machete wounds to the head. The victim was hospitalised, and the suspects fled. Koh Santepheap
