Robber gets poignant lesson in playing it cool

A 34-year-old burglar in Kampong Cham’s Memot district gave the game away on Wednesday, after arousing police suspicion by scampering from a crime scene too hastily.

Seeing the man flee, officers gave chase and recovered jewellery, two phones and cash that he’d just lifted from a nearby house. While he didn’t immediately admit to his misdeed, he was unmasked when his victim filed a complaint. DEUM AMPIL
