Robber thought he’d gotten away with it

The long arm of the law finally caught up with a Battambang man who had spent the past seven years in relative obscurity after a successful, and violent, robbery back in 2009.

It took until 2011 for a warrant to be issued by the provincial court and another five before police managed to pinpoint his location – Pursat.

The long-overdue arrest came on Monday and he’s now facing four years behind bars.
