Robbers arrested … a decade after the crime

Had they only read blotter regularly, two Kampong Thom men would have known that the “wait 'til they forget” strategy rarely pays off with the Kingdom’s police.

And so it was on Tuesday when two robbers were pinched more than 10 years after their alleged crime.

The duo who had done the deed in nearby Santuk district had moved on with their lives and were living and working in Stung Sen town when police finally found them and executed the longstanding arrest warrant.

The duo confessed, saying they believed they’d never be found.
