Robbers silence guard dog with tainted treat

Another brave Phnom Penh canine has fallen victim to scurrilous moto thieves. Police said a Sen Sok district homeowner awoke on Tuesday morning only to find her dog poisoned and three motos kept under her house gone.

Police are now investigating, but say the pooch poisoning – a sadly common tactic – was clearly a move to silence the home’s vigilant defender. Koh Santepheap
