Robbery costs an armful of cash, a leg

Three robbers armed with two pistols and a piece of metal made off with $8,855 in multiple currencies and assorted valuables on Wednesday night following a home invasion in Siem Reap’s Puok district.

The thieves found a number of people at the home belonging to a couple in their mid-thirties, whose niece was shot in the leg as a show of force during the robbery.

The family have filed a complaint with the police.
