A jobless man from Sihanoukville suspected of robbery has been apprehended in what appears to be a cross-provincial collaborative sting.

The man had fled the beachside resort town for the provincial border on Saturday in a taxi, only to be nabbed yesterday by the local authorities in Koh Kong province, who appear to have been tipped off by their Sihanoukville colleagues.

The authorities sent the man back to Sihanoukville for questioning.
