A mother and her 18-year-old daughter sustained injuries after their motorbike was involved in an accident with a homemade tractor on Sunday in Pailin’s Sala Krao district.
The mother, 46, was driving her daughter home, when the front left tyre of the tractor – heading in the opposite direction – fell off, police said.
The motorbike, driving at a high speed, hit the tyre, knocking the bike over, and leaving the mother and daughter seriously injured. Both were taken to a local hospital, while the tractor driver was taken in for questioning. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
