A canoodling couple in Siem Reap had their night ended on a decidedly unromantic note on Wednesday when they were attacked by two robbers.
Police said the couple had gone for a romantic walk near Angkor Wat and were sitting in a pleasant garden when the duo struck them from behind, knocking them senseless just long enough to relieve them of their phones, money and jewellery.
When police arrived shortly thereafter, the suspects were long gone, though victims were able to relate detailed descriptions. KOH SANTEPHEAP
