Two men carrying out their first burglary on Thursday must have thought the crime was too easy – until they were caught.

The duo broke a window and entered a home in Banteay Meanchey’s Serei Saophoan town. Once inside, they stole a laptop computer, a mobile phone, a national ID and some documents.

The owner, who was in the house at the time, later realised he had been burgled and called police. The men were soon arrested. Nokorwat
