Scam rolls back on a nefarious moto driver

Karma came back to bite a cunning motodop on Monday. Police say that the driver was giving a ride to a 25-year-old worker when they “ran into” two women who pretended they had found a bag of gold jewellery.

The women “shared” the gold with the worker, who traded her own jewellery and mobile phone for the precious stuff.

The woman later realised she had been given gold-painted tin. She rushed to a pagoda to rid herself spiritually of misfortune, where she saw the man and turned him over to the police. Nokorwat
