Schoolhouse slashers strike Poipet teacher

A teacher in Banteay Meanchey learned an ugly lesson in campus security when she was knifed and robbed on Friday.

According to police, she arrived to work at 6am to prepare herself for class and parked her moto outside the school in Poipet district.

Two thieves followed her into the building, injured her with a knife and fled as students arrived, making off with her vehicle.

The woman has been sent to hospital and police are on the lookout for her assailants.
