Scythe-swinging saga ends in nasty headache

A bust-up between two young neighbours in Kandal’s Sa’ang district landed one man in hospital and the other in a police jail cell on Monday.

What started as a verbal spat between the men – aged 18 and 22 – soon boiled over and the 18-year-old began brandishing a scythe.

All that was reaped from the unorthodox use of harvest equipment in this case was one sore head for the victim and a swift arrest for the perpetrator.
