Search is on for pistol-whipping home invaders

Police in Kampong Speu are on the lookout for five men who pistol whipped and burglarised the home of a rice factory owner.

The armed robbers pulled up to the woman’s home in a Toyota Highlander, broke in and beat her with their guns to the extent that she was later hospitalised, police said.

The alleged home invaders then stole jewellery and 40 million riel ($10,000) in cash, before leaving. CEN
