Self-pitying patient flies into fiery rage

An ostensibly sick man somehow found the energy to nearly burn his house down on Monday.

Police said the 33-year-old Kandal man was feeling poorly when he took to bed, expecting his wife to patiently wait on him hand and foot.

With three kids to look after on her own, the hand-and-foot treatment never materialised, sending our patient into a rage.

It was around midnight when he finally reached the boiling point and decided to burn down the family home to teach her a lesson.

Luckily, everyone escaped the burning house. He did not, however, escape police.
