A chauffeur in Kampong Cham province’s Prey Chhor district is unlikely to win employee of the month after pawning his boss’ car on Monday and disappearing.

The 31-year-old suspect had reportedly been asked to take the car to be cleaned, but when he hadn’t returned by the following morning, the vehicle owner called the cops.

Officers tracked him down at his home, where he admitted he’d pawned the car for $2,000.
