Poor customer service isn’t generally illegal, but it nonetheless landed a phone shop manager and two of his pals in jail on Monday in Banteay Meanchey province.

Police said a man who had pawned his phone at the shop had returned to reclaim his item, only to be told that his claim to the phone had expired.

The customer’s cursing allegedly prompted the manager and his mates to throw punches at him. The man was sent to hospital, and the three suspects reportedly confessed to police. DEUM AMPIL
