Shop owner struck by not-so-smooth criminals

Two construction workers were apprehended on Saturday for theft in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district. Police said a male vendor, 39, had locked up his shophouse on Thursday when two men broke in, stealing a host of property and cash.

The owner filed a police report, and officers made arrests. The suspects confessed to their crimes and returned some of the stolen items to their owner, having sold some items already. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
