A capital couple hadn’t even finished making the payments for their motorbike when it was driven off by thieves who visited their grocery shop in Dangkor district.

Two men pulled up to buy some drinks on Wednesday, handing over a 10,000 riel note. The vendor went in the back to get change, and when she returned, both the men and her wheels were gone.

After police were informed about the heist they did some investigating and brought in two suspects who they think could be the soda-sipping swindlers.
