Two trucks, one loaded with corn, the other with potatoes, were involved in a nasty collision on Monday.

Police said the incident occurred when the corn truck braked suddenly to avoid hitting a car, only to be rammed from behind by the potato truck.

Both the driver of the potato-laden vehicle and a worker sitting in the front seat were knocked unconscious and taken to hospital for treatment.

Police blamed the accident on high speeds and careless driving. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
