Site theft ends in many cracks to skull at dawn

An early morning theft at a construction site seemed like a good idea to a man in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Wednesday morning, but he didn’t factor in early morning crankiness.

The 36-year-old suspect snuck up to the site to steal electrical wiring, police said. Mid-robbery, a worker who got up to use the bathroom woke up his co-workers, who doled out a vicious beating before calling police. KOH SANTEPHEAP
