A 22-year-old man in Banteay Meanchey took communal living a step too far on Saturday when he pocketed his roommate’s iPhone 6.

Police say the opportunistic suspect stole while the victim was sleeping alone in their room in Poipet town.

However, a complaint to police from the aggrieved roommate left few mysteries and the suspect was swiftly arrested and found with the device, which he confessed to having nabbed before being sent to court.
