Smartphone thief picks snatch site very poorly

A well-timed snatch left a woman temporarily phoneless in Prampi Makara district in Phnom Penh on Sunday night.

Police said that she was walking alone, carrying an iPhone 6 in her hand, when a 33-year-old suspect drove up to her, made the grab and hit the gas.

Unfortunately for the alleged swiper, he was right near the local police station. After the victim cried out, local and district authorities gave chase and swiftly caught the suspect.
