‘Smooth’ move sealed junkies’ fate in capital

Two alleged junkies trying to cover their tails actually ended up drawing the unwanted attention of the police in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district on Monday.

Police said they saw the two men standing about when one dropped a suspicious-looking packet.

Their curiosity piqued, the cops strolled over, found the packet – which, of course, contained drugs – and detained the two men. The not-so-smooth suspects were sent to court.
