Snatch-‘n’-dash crash smashes thieves’ plans

Another pair of thieves whose bag-snatching prowess outstripped their driving skills went down in ignominious fashion on Saturday in Phnom Penh.

Police said the duo had just executed a perfect snatch ‘n’ grab when the victim, a local student, began screaming for police.

Panicking, the men crashed the bike during the getaway. One managed to escape in the crowd, but his partner was pinched and taken to court. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
